Digital Transformation

The matter of digital transformation as a specific strategic theme in the Strategy is new to the HEA and work has commenced on examining how technology will change the higher education landscape.

Our ‘digital first’ strategy with regard to publications saw in 2018, for the first time, that the majority of HEA publications were published web only as opposed to also in hard copy format. This eases accessibility and saves on printing costs as well as being more environmentally responsible.

We reached 7,000 Twitter followers for @hea_irl by the end of 2018.
